What is the cost of following Jesus Christ? Others have paid a price to follow him -- Peter, John, James, Paul, others through the years.  Will we step up to take Jesus Christ to the world?

Youth Pastor, Aaron Parish, challenged us from Luke 14 to not reject any invitation that Jesus gives to us believers, and to reach out beyond what we are normally comfortable with and offer Jesus' invitation to all. The invitation to the banquet should be all-inclusive, but the banquet is reserved ONLY for those who accept the invitation. We must not quit, we must not stop.

NHBC's intern, Jeremy Collins brought today's message from Luke 14:1-16. Are the religious leaders of Jesus' day really concerned about right worship of God? Their actions speak louder than their words. We can point our fingers at them, but what about us? Do we truly live and work in humility before God, serving Him and those around us, or are we self-serving and exalting ourselves?

Unrepentant believers miss out on the blessing of God.  Repent today!

Pastor Rick reminds us that in dire circumstances, in the chaos on this world, we have a hope in Christ that the world cannot understand. The kingdom of Jesus Christ will continue to grow and spread in spite of what is going on in the world.
